| G Unit May 2, 2005 04:47 PM PDT I Live in first avenue too, and I have eaten in A1 kebabish since they have opened, although their food was very dangerous, I say that A1 Kebabish is always going to be the best in Newham. Why? beacuse no one can beat it! For example, there are alot of kebabish's and restaurants in manor park, one in particular "Malji's" which has been under new managements for more than about fifteen times! The owners found the shop a great business oppurtunity but it has always been bad luck for them! I guess no one will be able to beat A1 Kebabish! Yessiree, a kebab shop in Manor Park, the A1 Kebabish, is now famous for having caused one of the largest outbreaks of Salmonella in recent years. I like kebabs, but not once in 14 years of living here have I ever dared try the food establishments of Manor Park. They are evidently grotty to me eyes. Why they are not grotty to Environmental Health until now? Worth wondering. If you want the best kebabs in London, you have to head up to Hackney or Green Lanes in Haringey, where there are some proper Turkish kebab restaurants, that have an open charcoal grill indoors, and they aren't very expensive. Even the kebab shops in Tower Hamlets seem better than any of the ones in Newham. I just hope this incident improves the quality of the independent fast food industry in Newham. There's no need to have levels of hygiene here that would be sneered at even in Dacca. | ||
