| E7 Blogger January 17, 2005 02:46 PM PST If the police representative that turns up is the same one that comes to our NW meetings you'll be wasting your time. He'll have nothing to offer but statistics that don't actually record real crime and some poxy stickers. | ||
| Andy January 9, 2005 12:27 PM PST I think you're correct on all of that, Gerry. Perhaps the meetings are held outside of the area because there aren't any meeting spaces inside of it. Come to think of it , there is the Church of God ( UK ). So I too wonder why St Nicholas Church is preferred but I won't be able to get along there on that day to to find out. There may even be a meeting room upstairs in the Blakesley Arms. | ||
| Gerry January 9, 2005 11:09 AM PST What area exactly does that neighbourhood cover? In my ancient history, Manor Park VILLAGE used to define the area north of the Romford Road, west of the Manor Park Broadway, bounded by the two railway lines. St Nicholas Church isn't in that triangle, so you've got me confused. | ||
